The Classy Gourmet offers recreational cooking class from beginner to gourmet. Classes from one-on-one to private dinner parties. Tasting classes, learning lunches, delightful dinner, ethnic nights, wine pairing, mother-daughter tea parties, couples classes, great grilling for dad, kids cooking club and many more. Classes will provide inspiration and education to learn more about the culinary arts and the ever-increasing role that food and wine play in our daily lives.
The Classy Gourmet’s fully coordinated culinary arts center combines education, entertainment, and enjoyment. It is our goal to increase our student’s culinary knowledge, to motivate and inspire them to try new things, and to educate and increase public awareness of the fine Chef’s, Caterers, Personal Chefs, Culinary Clubs, and Wine Shops in The Omaha and surrounding Metro area.
We have shelves of cookbooks and magazines to browse or purchase, many of which will be featured in the cooking classes. The retail gourmet food products, spices and sauces are top quality, competitively priced and conveniently located in the store. Small appliances, tablewares, utensils, pottery, and linens will be available and often demonstrated. Easy access to hard to find ingredients and gadgets needed for the featured recipes will be discounted after cooking class to save the time and expenses of driving around town and possibly forgetting necessary ingredients and tools. It is our hope that anyone who shares even the slightest appreciation for fine food and wine will find an area of interest at The Classy Gourmet.
